He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawerence Ashcroft and Virginia Ashcroft; his wife Arlene Nelsen; and his siblings, Virginia "Ginger", Ronald Ashcroft and Larry Ashcroft (Laverna).
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Cole (Rob) and Sandy Ashcroft; and his granddaughters, Jackie and Ashley Cole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
