Ruth Caroline Goebel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, at the age of 91, Ruth Caroline Goebel (Glenview, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas A. Goebel; her daughters, Kathleen Ruth Testa (Peter) and Kristen A. Goebel; her brother Robert Klabunde (Dorothy); and her parents, Emil Klabunde and Lydia Klabunde.
She is survived by: her children, Tom S. Goebel (Regine), Steven J. Goebel (Sofia), Karen M. Jackson (Vance) and Kurt A. Goebel (Rebecca); and her grandchildren, Megan, Matthew (Jessica), Emily Goebel, Stephanie Testa Morgan (Todd), Steven (Agatha), Ryan, Tyler Testa (Kenzie), Keith, Kyle (Angela), Grant (Kathryn), Rob (Molly), Kristen Jackson, Max and Lydia Goebel. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1850 Chestnut Ave, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
