He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vries and Dorothy De Vries; and his siblings, Cal De Vries and Sandy Sperling. He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Edwards); his children, Amber Briggs (Mark) of Soldotna, AK, George De Vries (Stacy) of John's Creek, GA and Matthew De Vries (Laurie) of West Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Jewell (Scott), AJ, Dylan (Roxy), Jaide, Jared, Reagan, Owen, Ella, Deagan, Darcy, Brenna and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Abigail and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
