It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Pajka of Glenwood, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Pajka to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Pajka and Frank Pajka; and his siblings-in-law, Howard DuChene, Dennis DuChene (Barbara) and Luella Fifer (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Patti Pajka; his daughter Jeanne Pajka Watson (Chad); his grandchildren, Summer Elizabeth Watson and Ryan Richard Watson; his sister Mary Ann Zaba (James); and his sisters-in-law, Lydia DuChene and Nancy Przybyla (Ronald). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home (18230 Dixie Hwy, Homewood, IL 60430). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
