With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Jacobs of Godfrey, Illinois, born in La Crosse, Kansas, who passed away on October 7, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Adam Jacobs and Augustina Jacobs (Wassinger); and his brothers, Darrell, Donald, Romeo, Virgil, Leroy, Larry and Fred Jacobs.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Jo (Bergl); his children, John Jacobs (Julie) of Godfrey, Mike Jacobs (Brittani) of Smithton, IL, Eddie Jacobs (Erika) of Godfrey, Jerome Jacobs (Lauren) of Godfrey, Marty Jacobs of New York and Mary Ellen Jacobs (Monique) of Los Angeles; and his sister Sharon Jacobs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the St. Ambrose Community Outreach Fund.
