We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2025, at the age of 83, Benjamin Coleman (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Homer, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Frank Coleman and Rosalie Holloway; his former wife Bernice Coleman; and his siblings, Rudolph Coleman, Beverly Ellis-Coleman and Joanne Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Coleman; his daughters, Valerie Thomas, Ann S. Coleman, Tiffani R. Coleman, Sharonda Williams (Anisha Nathaniel) and Bonty; and his brothers, Gilbert Coleman (Cecelia) and Giovanni Coleman (Sheila). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greater Faith Deliverance Church (519 Grace St, Godfrey, IL 62035). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens (2000 Pennsylvania Ave, St. Louis, MO 63133).
