He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde A. Phelps and Melba Phelps (Nixon); his wife Claudette Needham; and his daughter Victoria Voght. He is survived by : his son Jerry Phelps Jr. of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Amanda Josefowicz and Clyde Phelps (Whitney); his great grandchildren, Pete and Paul Phelps; and his sisters, Martha Raby (Rayford) and Margie Graham (Dan).
