She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gerbig and Carrie Gerbig (Johnson); her son Robert Beard; her son-in-law Jack Christian; and her siblings, Arthur Gerbig (Jayne), George Gerbig (Ethel), Evelyn McKinney (Cecil), Julia Gerbig, Harry Gerbig and Robert Gerbig (Linda).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Beard of Godfrey, IL, Patti Christian of Alton, IL and Sharon Beard of Godfrey, IL; and her grandchildren, Robert Beard (Kathy), James Beard (Vicki), Carrie Beard, Paul Rogers and Sarah Lawrence (Steven). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
