He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brainerd and Blanche Brainerd (Greenwalt); and his son Michael Brainerd. He is survived by: his wife Kim Brainerd; his children, James A. Brainerd (Julie) of Washington and Kris Brainerd of Godfrey, IL.; his stepchildren, John Luzynski (Hanna) of Barnhart, MO., Donald Luzynski (Crish) of Tennesse, Kenneth Luzynski of Oakville, MO, Cathy McGarity (Dave) of Imperial, MO., Richard Luzynski of Lousiville, KY and Dennis Luzynski of Sullivan, MO; and his siblings, Charles Brainerd (Charlotte) of Grafton, IL and Linda Milton of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
