She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Bessie Irene Kerr (Bowen); and her sister Mary Belle Fox. She is survived by: her son Donald Dodds of Bonita Springs, Florida; her grandchildren, Nicholas Dodds of Manchester and Erin Davidson of London, England; and her great grandchild Tessa Barbara Davidson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Retired Teachers Association Foundation, which supports retiree assistance, scholarships, and grants for new teachers.
