He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Karcher; his children, Walter Jake Gregory II (Michelle) and Diana Root (Ron); his grandchildren, Elena Gregory, Danielle Gregory, Brandon Root (Lydia), Gregory Root, Josephine Root (Joey), Amber Gregory and Autumn Gregory; his great grandchild Clara Root; and his sisters, Janet Bott (Wayne), Vicki Fitsgerald (Robert), Mary Ellen Landuyt (Don), Kathy Cotter (Dan), Madeline Morgenroth (Dave) and Teresa McGinnis (Joe H.). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donation to be made to St. Mary's Catholic School.
