It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard McKinzie of Golconda, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard McKinzie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McKinzie and Edna McKinzie (Cole); his brother David McKinzie; and his son Chad McKinzie. He is survived by: his wife Pamela McNelly; his daughter Angie Schrader (Kevin) of Coulterville; his grandchildren, Caitlyn McKinzie, Baylie McKinzie (Brett Phillips), Arianna McKinzie, Danielle McKinzie and Brody Schrader; his great grandchildren, Kaden and Emilea; his brother Michael McKinzie of Walnut Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Cummins (Sonny) of Patoka and Brenda Bryant of Centralia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Richard's honor to the Donor's Choice.
