We announce the death of George Taylor of Golden Eagle, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 80. He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: George Taylor Sr. and Marian Taylor; sisters: Marian Williams and Tanya Burger; brother: John Taylor; nieces and nephews: Kathleen Gulick (Don Gulick), Charles Williams (Angel Williams), Thomas Hamilton (Kim Hamilton), Angela Hamilton, David Hamilton, Dustin Pohlman, Donald Gulick II, John Williams, Codie Williams, Scarlet Hamilton, Matilda Hamilton, Taylor Johnson, Parker Trigg, Aiden Hamilton, Dexter Gulick, Xavier Gulick, Diana Bono, John Williams III, Leila Williams, and Athena Williams; as well as many other cherished family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Brussels (145 Community Ave, Brussels, IL 62013). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Matthew Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Girl Scouts.
