He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Holmes and Carolyn Hamilton; his stepfather Robert Hamilton; his former wife Janice LuAnn Holmes; and his sister Jan Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Haschemeyer; his daughters, Nicole Huppe (Kyle) of Arenzville, IL and Jacquelyn Haschemeyer of Golden, IL; his grandchildren, Waylon, Jaelyn and Brynnlee Huppe of Arenzville; his siblings, Alan Holmes (Nancy) of Sebring, FL and Jill Steiger (Raymond) of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings' children, Alana Murphy (Sean), Ross Holmes (Cierra Resendez), Grant Steiger (Bridgette), Brock Steiger and Sadie Steiger. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
