James Swanson Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Swanson of Good Hope, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 69, on December 14, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kendall Swanson and E. Marjorie King Swanson. He is survived by: his sons, Jake Swanson of Carman and Kevin Swanson of Blandinsville; his grandchildren, Kendall Swanson, Carson Hanger and Kinslee Patejak; and his sister Mary Jane Shryack (Hardy) of Macomb.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home (303 E Washington St, Macomb, IL 61455). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Warren County Sportsmen Club or Hancock County Gun Club.
