She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney Irby, Sr. and Onita Irby (Tannehill); and her sons, Earl "Sonny" Jackson and Darren Rhinehart. She is survived by: her children, Mark Welch (Lori Phillips) of Brandon, Cynthia Welch (John Morrison) of Goreville and Martin Welch (April Busby) of Florence, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Nicholas Welch, Anna Welch, Clara Bozarth (Dakota), Jessica Welch, Marshall Welch (Robyn) and Kaleigh Welch; her great grandchildren, Miller Welch, Wrenleigh Bozarth, Cason Bozarth, Mayson Welch, Macon Welch, Manning Welch and Riggsley Welch; and her close friends, Meadow Lewis and Helen Janet Morrison.
