He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertis Jenkins and Elza May Jenkins; his former wife Elaine Jenkins; his stepson Wesley Morse; and his brother Carl Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Grant; his daughter Katrina Jeter (Scottie); his grandsons, Tim Gower (Amber) and Jordan Jeter; his great grandchildren, Timmy Gower, Jr. and Nick Gower; his stepson Zandle Morse (Lisa); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Morse, Chloe Morse and Hannah Morse; his stepdaughter-in-law Mary Sue Morse; and his sister-in-law Barbara Jenkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blue Funeral Home - Goreville (812 S Broadway, Goreville, IL 62939). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Honor Flight or St Jude Children's Research.
