With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Moore of Goreville, Illinois, born in McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Arthur Meadows and Nona Frances Meadows (Barker); her husband Vernon Moore; her daughter Valerie June Moore; and her brother Michael Eugene Meadows.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Frances Luke of Goreville, Donna Fay Whittington of Goreville and Debra Maier (James) of Simpson, Illinois; her grandchildren, Eric Whittington (Rebekah), Raymond Maier (Vanessa), Mikey Whittington, Andrew Maier (Kaci McFarland), Jacob Maier (Shay), Joshua Luke and Nona Smith-Luke (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Lizzie, Sophia Whittington, Maddox and Nolan Maier.

Memorials may be made to the Heather Harper Treat Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 98, Vienna, Illinois 62995.
