She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A. Schroeder and Christina Charlotte Schroeder (Springman); her daughter Mary Christina Smith; her sister Sandra Wyman; and her parents-in-law, Otis James Lee and Mary Moleta Clarkson.
She is survived by: her husband David Clarkson of Grafton; her sons, Otis James "Jim" Clarkson of Elsah and Lawrence "Larry"; her daughter-in-law Tracy Clarkson of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Jillian Clarkson, Alexia Clarkson, Jayden Smith, Brian McDonald, Michael McDonald, Shawn McDonald, Ava Clarkson, Natalie Clarkson, Alexandra Bizallion, Kennadi Bizallion, Kierstyn Bizallion and Rayven Clarkson; her brother Phillip Schroeder of Jerseyville; her siblings-in-law, Grey Wyman of Piasa and Helen Antrobus of Grafton; and her niece Lisa McDonald.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Scenic Hill Cemetery N.
In honor of Janet's generous spirit and love for her community, memorials may be given to the Grafton American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
