Langley West Obituary

We announce the death of Langley West of Grand Chain, Illinois, who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 97. Langley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua West and Daisy West (Fisher); his former wife Donna West (Sichling); his daughter Sandy Smith; his grandsons, Josh Graves and Zane Smith; and his siblings, Bruce, Gene, Jack West, Sue Denton, Gail Rigby and Joann West.

He is survived by: his children, Mike West (Sharon) of Milan, LaDonna McDowell (Russell) of Dongola and Langley Joseph West of Fernwood, Washington; his stepdaughters, Phyllis Loos, Colleen Bogart and Renee DeGrush; his grandchildren, Shad West, Heather Graves, Shanna Graves, Shiloh Graves, Jessie Graves, Trampas Smith, Jake Smith, Benjamin Smith and Langley West; and his sisters, Luella Thomason, Jane Winterbottom, Patsy Stetter, Yorkie and Cricket. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
