He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Trager and Mardell Trager (Blossy); and his granddaughter Alexandria "Ali" Stevenson. He is survived by: his children, Ted Trager (Janna) of Grand Ridge, Jackie Stevenson (Keith) of Ottawa and Donald Trager (Sarah) of Grand Ridge; his grandchildren, Colten Trager (Kaitlin), Lindsey Trager (Tyler Amm), Nicole Bergeson (Kevin), Claire and Colette Trager; his great grandchildren, Ellie Trager and Cade Bergeson; and his sister Colleen Dodd (John) of Oglesby.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Grand Rapids Cemetery Association.
