He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Long and Mary Long (Morel); and his siblings, Richard, Bill, Irene Long and Shirley Kruger.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Williams (Christopher) of St. Joseph, MI and Mark Long (Janet) of Marseilles; and his grandchildren, Cody Williams (Sara), Casey Williams (Sydney), Luke Long (Taylor), Julia Long and Olivia Long.
