It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Rigsby of Granite City, Illinois, born in Dover, Tennessee, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Rippy and Hazel Rippy (Cottrell); her siblings, Carol Rippy, JoAlice Rippy and Sonny Rippy; and her brother-in-law Bob Matsko.
She is survived by: the father of her children Larry Joe Rigsby of Edwardsville; her daughters, Laura Smith (Brian) of Granite City and Beth Teague (Tony) of Herculaneum, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Smith (Amber), Emily Smith (Daniel Parker), Nicole Reynolds (Mike) and Tyler Barnes (Shelby Gassett); her great grandchildren, Eva, Elias Smith, Reese, Jack Reynolds, Gunnar, Tatum and Baker Barnes; her sisters, Faye Matsko and Cathy Mifflin (Louie); and her sister-in-law Betty Tester.
Memorials may be given to Second Baptist Church in Granite City, Illinois or to BJC Hospice.
