She was predeceased by: her parents, Rick Wilburn and Charlene Wilburn (Barham); her husband Phillip N. Kindle; her son Scott Ward; and her brother David Wilburn.
She is survived by: her son Ron Ward (Phuong) of Vietnam; her grandchildren, Melanie Ward of Alton, Nathaniel "Nat" Ward of Vietnam, Benjamin Ward of Vietnam and Thomas Ward of Vietnam; her great grandchildren, Evan Christy of Alton, Isabel Christy of Alton, Summer Slaton of Alton and Penelope Slaton of Alton; her sister Dianne Killion (Tim Breslin) of Chicago; and her sister-in-law Leah Ray Higgins of Gary, Indiana. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
