In loving memory of Betty Joyce Bolt of Granite City, Illinois, who departed this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Betty Joyce leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Reese and Hedwig Laird (Rygalski); her husband Joseph William Bolt Sr.; her son Joseph William Bolt Jr.; and her brothers, Richard, Dennis and Gary Laird.
She is survived by: her daughter Darla; her children-in-law, Gregg Harrison of Orlando, Florida and Jennifer Bolt of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; her grandchildren, Lauren Bolt, Tyler Bolt (DeAnna), Blake Harrison and Austin Harrison; and her great grandchild Jackson Joseph Bolt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
