Christa Renee Hardester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christa Renee Hardester of Granite City, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Eva Burks, Vernon Cox and Christine Smith; her mother-in-law Terry Rose; and her pet Koda.
She is survived by: her spouse Russell Scott Hardester; her son Isaiah Scott Hardester; her parents, Velier Anderson (Helferstay) of Granite City and Richard Cox of Alabama; her siblings, Marie Cox of Alabama and Richard Cox of Alabama; her father-in-law George Hardester of Granite City; and her brother-in-law Ryan Hardester of Alton. She is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Memorials may be made to the Hardester family for a trust fund to be established for her son.
