We are sad to announce that, on August 26, 2023, at the age of 79, Coach Gene Baker of Granite City, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Baker and Mildred Sarah Baker. He is survived by: his children, Eugene Baker (Maria) and Brigit Stanley (Michael); his grandsons, Ryan Stanley, Evan Stanley and Beckett Baker; and his great grandchildren, Elena Mineo and Dominic Mineo. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.
