He is survived by: his sons, Dan Askins (Nicole) of Pontoon Beach, IL and Chris Askins of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Jordan, Braydan, Chris Jr., Makayla and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Meredith and Lane; his siblings, John Askins (Judy), Janice Avants (Lee) of Granite City, IL and Laura Heine (Mark) of Fredericktown, MO; and his sister-in-law Barbara Askins.
