He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Leon Miller and Pearl Martha Helen Miller (Haws); and his sister Sharon McCain. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Miller of Granite City, IL; his children, Laura Boyles (Gerald) of Granite City, IL, Gregory Miller of Granite City, IL and Liz Vickery (Jason) of Granite City, IL; his siblings, David Miller (Beverly), Jimmy Miller (Penny), Sheila Miller, Ronald Miller (Shirley) and Donald Miller (Chris); his mother-in-law Patsy Hilligoss; and his grandchildren, Ashley Melton (Kyle), Annabeth O'Connell, Mitchell Boyles, Owen Vickery and Brooke Vickery. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Irwin Chapel in Granite City. A procession will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Life Church in Granite City, IL.
