As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Donna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Martinez and Vera Martinez (Hargus); and her siblings, Juanita Wilhold and Bob Martinez. She is survived by: her son Richard Mendoza of Granite City, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Amelia and Carlo Mendoza. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
