It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Lathrop of Granite City, Illinois, born in Keenes, Illinois, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eber Coil and Elsie Mae Coil (Smith); her daughter Patricia; her son-in-law Al Stevens; and her sister Velma Acres.

She is survived by : her husband Howard Lathrop; her children, Cindy Ferguson (Steve), David Lathrop (Stephanie) and Cathy Malawy (Paul); and her siblings, Treva Sailor, Thelma Lathrop and John Coil (Marianne). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Memorial donations may be given to Parkinson's Foundation or Nameoki United Methodist Church. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
