He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clark and Mary Louise Clark (Phillips); his grandson Lukas DePew; his siblings, Rodney Clark and Judy Hutchinson; his brother-in-law Gary Hutchinson; and his nephew Lenny Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Clark (Shemonia); his children, Evette Shemwell (Thomas Paul) of Pontoon Beach, Rodney Clark of Granite City and Tina Frasier of Granite City; his grandchildren, Megan Thomas (Jonathan Foster), Elliott "Joshua" Clark (Jessica), Dustin Glasco, Tiffany Shemwell (Adam McCormick), Cody DePew (Mary Nichols), Jacob Shemwell and Rhomynn Frasier (Antonio Briagas); his great grandchildren, Isaac Thomas, Logan Waters, Talon Foster, Landon Clark, Owen Glasco and Sebastian Glasco; and his siblings, Modert Clark (Helen) of Dix, Gregory Clark (Rose) of Granite City, Mary Jo Hutchinson of Granite City, Jackie Brailey of Fairmont City and Jody Robertson of Mitchell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
