He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis Elbert and Veronica Kelley (Ponsett); and his wife Deborah Kelley. He is survived by : his significant other Lola Anna Crowder (Cory); his sister Donna; and his siblings-in-law, Charles, Donna Crowder of Springfield, Dawn, John Fisher of Granite City, Tina and Brent Tiffany of Florissant, Missouri. He is also survived by several step-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2606 Washington Ave, Granite City, IL 62040).

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
