He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schwertmann and Venida Schwertmann (Raab); his brothers, Larry Schwertman and Dennis Schwertman; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Baecher Schwertman.
He is survived by: his sister Irene DelRio (James). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
