He is survived by: his daughter Christy Novich of Springfield, IL; his grandchildren, Tyler Novich and Jessica Kelley; his great grandchildren, Thomas Ames and Bryliegh Ames; his brother Mark Novich of St. Louis, MO; and his former wife Kathleen Chruscial of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Per Gary's wishes, his body was donated to science. Memorials may be made to Partners for Pets or Stray Rescue of St. Louis.
