He is survived by: his children, Michael Kalert (Gena Kay) of Bethalto, IL, Denise Lofink (Dave) of Granite City, IL and David Kalert (Scott Eberhart) of Glen Carbon, IL; his grandchildren, Steven Kalert, Melissa Sullivan, Maerhanda Rolens and Jacob Kalert; his great grandchildren, Destiny, Joseph, Aubrey and Paige; and his great great grandchildren, Addilyn and Teghan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Salvation Army.
