With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Brewer (Granite City, Illinois), who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Brewer and Joan Brewer (Summers); his wife Diane "Mimi" Brewer (Fecurka); and his brother-in-law Donald Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Stacey; his son-in-law Tony Goodman of Pocahontas; his son Dustin; his daughter-in-law Jessica Brewer of Granite City; his grandchildren, Devin Turner, Anthony Goodman, Anna Brewer and Evan Brewer; his great grandchildren, Braylon and Emelia; and his sister Jennifer Smith of Granite City.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
