With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Phillip Borchers of Granite City, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Borchers. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Borchers of Sarasota, Florida; his children, Ashley Borchers of Granite City, Laura (Rio Arosemena) of Granite City and Jay Borchers (Malia); his grandchildren, Ellie, Uriah, Arielle, Noah and Thea; his sister JoEllyn Yturraspe of Sarasota, Florida; his sibling's children, Max, Ava and Matthew; and the mother of his children Ellen Flowers. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Memorials are appreciated to the Gary Sinise Foundation for veterans.
