She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kiernan and Josephine Kiernan (Nickleson); her husband Charles L. Melzer, Jr.; and her brother Thomas Kiernan, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Herrmann (Tom) of Scottsdale, AZ, Patricia Conn (Toby) of Las Vegas, NV, Janice Langa (Scott) of Sarasota, FL, David Melzer of Granite City, Jeffery Melzer (Kandy) of Maryville, IL and Steven Melzer (Alice) of Temeculah, CA; and her sister Pat Tvede. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
