With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Kozer Jr. of Granite City, Illinois, born in Madison, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kozer and Lillian Kozer (Garbarino); his wife Rosemary A. Kozer (Pritchard); his son-in-law Allen Brouk; and his granddaughter Jennifer (Tony Diullo).
He is survived by: his children, Gayle Brouk of Arnold, MO, John J., Lynnette Kozer III of Granite City, IL, Kathy and Damian Cowan of Granite City, IL; his grandchildren, Cody Beatty, Cierra Beatty, Marcus Knighten, Breann, Stan Bailey, Kyle, Kim Kozer, Tricia Brouk and Joe Ricci; and his great grandchildren, Cooper J. Kozer, Blaire Rose Kozer, Marcus D. Knighten II, Ezra Jo Knighten and Cora E. Beatty. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
