He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Irwin and LaVesta Faye Irwin (Russell). He is survived by: his brother Randall A.; his sister-in-law Linda Irwin of Granite City; and his close friend Patty York of Granite City. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
