He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oswald and Elaine Oswald (Mueller); and his siblings, Dina Oswald, Sherry Oswald and Kenneth Oswald.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Oswald of Granite City; his children, Ben Oswald (Sharees Burrage) of Collinsville, Michelle Oswald of Cottage Hills, Hope Oswald of Granite City and Michaia Oswald of Cottage Hills; and his brothers, Charles Oswald, Russell Oswald, Cody, Billy and Odin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
