He was predeceased by: his parents, Pantaleon Hernandez and Nicolasa Hernandez (Lopez). He is survived by: his wife Enriqueta Pacheco De Hernandez of Granite City, Illinois; his children, Jaime Hernandez (Junenita), Luis, Raudel Hernandez (Urzula), Arcelia Villa (Froilan), Gerardo Hernandez (Andrea Ochoa) and Ulises Hernandez (Mary J.); his grandchildren, Jaime, Victor, Noe, Xavier, Linette, Dulce, Angel, Santino, Evany, Ivan, Armando, Omar, Joseluis, Julia, Hector, Samuel, Sophia, Ninel, Laila, Gerardo, Jr., Giovanni, Mateo, Liah and Syana; his great grandchild Olivia; and his siblings, Antonio, Petra, Maria, Margarita, Blas and Juana. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (2716 N 42nd St, Fairmont City, IL 62201).
