She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Pete" Kessinger and Wilma Kessinger (Lloyd); her spouse J. B. Hayes Sr.; her daughter Kathy Jo Hayes; her daughter-in-law Suzy Hayes; her grandson Travis Hayes; and her siblings, Lloyd Kessinger, Mike Kessinger, George Kessinger, Bill Kessinger, Lois "Sissy" Patuzzi and Beth Dials.
She is survived by: her children, J. B. Hayes Jr. of Granite City, Angela Hayes of Fairmont City and Jason Hayes (Sandra) of Granite City; her grandchildren, Pablo Orozco (Kat), Pedro Orozco (Alva), Emilie Hayes, Breanne Grim, Felipe Osorio (Sarah), Rebecca Osorio (Anthony) and Javier Osorio; her great grandchildren, Remmie Orozco, Sebastian Orozco, Logan Darden, Carter Clyburn, Easton Osorio, Hayden Osorio and Greyson Bernheisel; and her siblings, Dave Kessinger, Becky Creech and Shirley "Shug" Robinson. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.
