She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman and Ruby; her husband Loren Hicks; her grandson Jamie Hicks; and her siblings, Dwayne, Danny Goodman and Laveda Groves.
She is survived by: her children, Rita DonCarlos of Granite City and Kenny Hicks (Natalie) of Granite City; her grandchildren, Cliff Nettles, Scott Nettles, Rusty Nettles, Tahisha Lettie and Tiffany Hicks; her stepgrandchildren, Chad Mercer and Ryan Holt; and her siblings, Stan Goodman of Granite City, Wanda Berry of Sikeston, MO and Yvonne Counts of Highland.
