We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2022, at the age of 101, Mabel Kennerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Strackeljahn and Julia Strackeljahn (Wisnasky); and her brother Albert Strackeljahn. She is survived by : her children, Charlene Riggins of Granite City and Edward; her daughter-in-law Kim Kennerly of Granite City; her granddaughters, Rachel (Aaron Hodges), Emilie Riggins, Sarah (Andy Hartline) and Natalie Riggins (Ryan Moyes); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Lucas, Hayley, Hannah, Conner and Cody; and her grandchildren, Wyatt and Luna. She is also survived by other extended family and many friends.

Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ and may be accepted at the funeral home.
