We are sad to announce that, on February 21, 2024, at the age of 87, Marjorie A. Schmidt of Granite City, Illinois, born in Highland, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Iberg and Viola Iberg (Warnecke); her husband Edward W. Schmidt; and her sister Ethel Rich. She is survived by: her sons, Edward W. Schmidt of Granite City, Richard Schmidt of Granite City and Alan Schmidt of Granite City; her granddaughter Hannah (Juan Fernandez) of Granite City; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Eleanor and Juan Edward Fernandez. She is also survived by her granddaughter and her great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ and may be accepted at the funeral chapel.
