He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Nugent (Murphy); his birth father Howard Evans; his stepfather Jack Nugent; his siblings, Cindy Schildman, Candice Evans and Martin Evans; and his parents-in-law, Charles J. and Norma J. Bennett (McDonald).
He is survived by: his wife Charleen J. Evans (Bennett); his son Christopher Evans (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Emma Rose Evans of Granite City, Illinois and Chloe Jean Evans of Granite City, Illinois; his siblings, Connie Jones, Cheryl Watkins-Stump, Carla Kelly, Christy Evans and Carolyn Fisher; his brothers-in-law, Michael Bennett (Gwen) and Tim Bennett; and his pet Rudy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
