She was predeceased by : her parents, Winifrey Shane and Susan Shane (Gano); her daughter Margaret Rose Shane; and her brothers, Thomas, Joseph and Jim Shane.

She is survived by : her son Michael Simpson (Kathy) of Madison; and her brothers, Charles Shane (Frances) of Alton, Bill Shane of Ontario and Bob Shane of Missouri. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
