Matthew R. Stefl Obituary

He was predeceased by: his father Steve Stefl; and his stepfather John Fuhrman. He is survived by: his mother Brenda "Kathy" Fuhrman (Raub); his daughter Alexis Stefl of Granite City; his stepmother Diana Stefl of Carlyle; his sister Kristie; his brother-in-law Ray Grieve of Highland; his nephews, Justin and Zachary Grieve; his former wife Liz Stefl of Granite City; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by numerous step-brothers and step-sisters; many nieces and nephews.

The military honors will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Irwin Chapel (3960 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
